So why not take this peaceful time before the baby comes to go on a little break” The perfect “babymoon” is all about timing with the second trimester from weeks 14 to 27 regarded as being the perfect time to travel.
As well as timing, you should remember to resist the urge to go somewhere exotic as relaxation is the most important thing you and your partner will need. Take into account weather conditions, accommodation, medical facilities and try to limit your fight to around no more than five hours. With all of these conditions to meet, it can be hard to even start trying to find the perfect babymoon, so to help we have found three holidays to enjoy before the baby comes.
Although the flight could be a little longer than five hours, Vietnam is the perfect place to relax before the baby comes. Most would head to either Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, but if you are looking for something a little less touristy, check out the old town of Da Nang. The third biggest city in Vietnam, Da Nang has stunning vistas and some ultra-luxurious places to stay. After checking out the Marble Mountains or the uncrowded Lang Co and china beaches, you could stay in the Fusion Maia Spa Resort. There is no way you won’t be able to relax.
Close and very easy to get to, Bali is a great place to start your holiday plans. Look at going to Ubud with its relaxing scenery and great food. Stay in a restful resort like The Samara. Children under 12 are not allowed in this resort and it is close enough to the local attraction and hospital. Once settled stroll down to the Yoga Barn to enjoy some revitalising pregnant yoga only 3km away from the resort.
One of the most well-known place for honeymooners, the Maldives is a picture-perfect paradise. However, it could be your perfect babymoon destination with you and your partner relaxing on an isolated island resort with clear blue waters. Being an 8- to 12-hour flight means you would be best taking a short stop in Singapore. Once you arrive in the Maldives try out the Four Seasons to really lose yourself in luxury and relaxation. The resort has a number of things to do for both of you and it also has its own in-house doctor. With everything taken care of by the resort all you have to do is relax.
